Credits and licences

Benchzy's tools are open-source programs. They load from this site into your browser and do their work there. This page names each one and the licence it ships under. It is kept current as engines are pinned or replaced.

Background removal model

what runs
ISNet (general-use weights), as distributed in the @imgly/background-removal-data package, version pinned at build time. Delivered as 11 pieces with a SHA-256 list; the browser checks every piece, and the whole file, before the model runs
licence
Apache License 2.0 for the weights; the package data itself states MIT. The model file is used directly through our own runtime code; the @imgly wrapper library is not shipped.

Saved on your device

A small service worker (our own code, part of this site) keeps the pages and program files your browser has already loaded, so a returning visit does not download the big engines again, and a page you have visited can open without a connection. It caches program files only. It never sees your files: jobs run in page memory and no request carries them.

What is not here

No engine on this page receives your files. There is no upload endpoint, no account system and no job counter in the code. If a future tool ever needs a server, this page and the tool's own page will say so in plain words before it ships.
